1. The flooring ground shall be sloped towards the floor drain for good water drainage. Cement mortar or pea stone concrete can be used, but the surface shall be flat. The slope near the door should be small, and the slope near the floor drain must be large, which can be mastered according to the specific situation.
2. The waterproofing construction should be strengthened where the pipeline passes through the bottom of the floor. After the pipe root is well sealed with building sealing paste or mortar, the working surface of the cement should be troweled and the foot protection need be smooth, and 1 ~ 2 layers of glass fiber cloth reinforcing layer are pasted before the polyurethane waterproof coating is applied. The same measures shall be taken near the floor drainage part.
3. The wall surface shall be clean and smooth without floating ash and small particles, and small rounded corners or slope angles shall be plastered at the junction of wall and ground before the waterproofing construction works. When applying polyurethane waterproof coating, stick 1 ~ 2 layers of glass fiber cloth as reinforcement layer.
4. The total thickness of polyurethane waterproof coating shall be more than 1.0mm (about 2kg)or as design. It can’t be decided by the number of the applying times. The pipe roots and corners reinforcing layer shall be painted first before the large area painted and scraped after the surface is dry at room temperature for 4hrs. There shall be no missing scraping or bubbling. Apply the next layer after curing for 24h in a large area.
5. The painting directions of waterproofing coating should be the vertical walls first and then the plane flooring works, and the direction of the next painting is perpendicular to the previous one to form a strong cross reinforced layer. During the semi curing of the last coating, coarse sand particles shall be thrown and pulled to facilitate the combination with cement mortar in the future for floor tile construction.
6. The ground waterproof layer shall be painted 300mm outside the toilet door. The waterproofing layer on the ground surface shall be 200mm higher than the ground level, and the waterproofing layer on the walls of the toilet with shower shall be 1800mm higher than the ground (it is recommended to waterproof the whole wall).
7. Conduct closed water test as required before delivery of the waterproofing works.
8. The practice of wrapped riser is recommended. It is recommended to make wrapped riser after waterproof, and then make up waterproof locally. If the ground waterproof layer is not damaged, the closed water test can be avoided.
