The two part polymer cementitious waterproof coating is kind of universal applied and two component(in nano emulsion and cement based polymer powder), thixotropic, cementitious modified polymer coating which is made of high polymer cement based mixed powders and nano emulsion. This coating provides high adhesion to both concrete floor, wall, the pools, water tanks, balcony, toilet, gutters and steel and etc.. This coating provides protection from the effects of aggressive acid gases, moisture and chlorides and also resists chemical attack on the concrete or other substrates. This coating forms a highly elastic hard and alkaline coating on the substrate. Cementitious coating protects concrete in sulfate contaminated ground conditions.
I. Construction process of JS waterproof coating
Upon the waterproofing constructions of the two part polymer cementitious waterproof coating, the waterproofers just need to prepare all the tools and must follow the working procedures for the waterproofing constructions. After the waterproofing preparation, then mix the nano emulsion and cement based polymer powder completely for 3-5 minutes until the coating is fully mixed. The mixing ratio is 1:1 or 2:1 shared by nano emulsion to the mixed powder coating. If primers are needed, then you clean water diluted emulsion as base cleaning primer. Then brush or roller of the coating accordingly. The application of the waterproofing layers should be layer by layer in the order of primer → lower layer → middle layer → upper layer.The time interval between each layer shall be subject to the previous layer being dry and non stick.
II. The following matters shall be paid attention to during coating
1. If the cememtitious waterproofing coating (especially the bottom layer) has precipitation, it shall be stirred evenly at any time. Each time, it shall be stirred at the bottom of the barrel to avoid precipitation;
2. The cememtitious waterproofing coating shall be as uniform as possible without local precipitation, and it is required to roll and brush several times to ensure that there are no bubbles between the waterproofing coating layers and the base course and the bonding is tight;
3. Each waterproofing layer of the coating must be taken according to the specified amount, and must not be too thick or too thin. If the thickness of the final waterproof layer is not enough, an additional layer can be applied.
4. Reference dosage: thickness: 1.0mm, about 1.2 ~ 1.5kg/m2; The thickness is 1.5mm, about 1.7 ~ 2.0kg/m2, or as the construction design
III. Construction precautions
1.Before making the waterproof layer, check whether the leveling layer is cracked, hollowed and uneven. In case of such situation, it shall be repaired before construction;
2.Sprinkle a small amount of clean water to wet the ground;
3.Rolling or brushing can be carried out, and the interval is mainly non stick on the coating surface before brushing;
4. The construction temperature is above 5 ℃, and the theoretical drying time is 8 hours;
